High School Special Education Transition Teacher

Highland Park ISD, a premier destination district known for its unyielding commitment to excellence and individualized student success, is seeking a highly qualified High School Transition Teacher to support students in developing the academic, social, organizational, and postsecondary readiness skills necessary for success beyond high school. This educator will collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, families, and support staff to provide targeted instruction, individualized transition planning, and interventions aligned to each student’s postsecondary goals. The ideal candidate will foster student independence, self-advocacy, and confidence while promoting meaningful preparation for college, career, and adult life in an inclusive environment rooted in high expectations for all learners.

Salary: $64,500+, Based on Years of Creditable Experience, $3,000 Master's Degree Stipend, $5,000 Doctorate Stipend, $2000 High Needs stipend
