School Psychologist

Cluster V Special Education Cooperative represents and provides special education and dyslexia services to Brackett ISD, D'Hanis ISD, Knippa ISD, Leakey ISD, Nueces Canyon CISD, Sabinal ISD, and Utopia ISD; and ancillary services to Comstock ISD, the seven member districts have a total enrollment of approximately 2519 students. While each member District is unique, they all have one commonality; they are small-rural schools. Sabinal ISD serves as the fiscal agent, as well as the office site of the Cluster V. Salary dependent on level of education, licensure and years of experience in public education.

Primary Purpose:

The School Psychologist will assist schools in the development of appropriate educational programs for students by conducting full individual evaluations, providing direct counseling and social skills instruction, consultative psychological services, and conducting and/or participating in ARD meetings for students.
